Michigan Lakes and Streams Association Conference set for May 5-6. Mark your calendar now!

MI-Conference

One of the highlights of spring is reuniting with lake lovers and lake advocates at our annual state lake conventions. I’m from the Badger State and so each year attend the Wisconsin Lakes and Rivers Convention, which will be held April 19-21 in Stevens Point. If you’re from our neighboring Wolverine State, you’ll want to mark your calendar for the Michigan Lakes and Streams Association’s 62nd Annual Conference, May 5-6 at Crystal Mountain Resort in Thompsonville, near Traverse City.

As always, the conference will offer keynote addresses, breakout sessions on a wide range of current issues and topics of interest; an awards dinner; exhibits from conference sponsor companies, nonprofits and others; and, best of all, the chance to network with and learn from lake association leaders, state and local government representatives, university experts, and others. It can’t hurt to mark your calendar now. Conference details will be available soon at www.mymlsa.org.
